Aiba sat in the corner of the room, the script on his legs. He could already feel an incredible nervousness rising in him. It felt like a knot in his deepest part of his body and it wandered upwards till Aiba felt like he was about to throw up.

He had been on stage for years now, and the only feeling he always had was this slight bubble feeling in his belly, jumping up and down. It was his spirit for the stage – the spirit for cheer people up, for giving his best in a concert.

But this was something else. It was about hosting a show, and he had only a little experience with it. Aiba looked at his bento box. When did he bring it along? Yesterday? Today? When did he eat for the last time? He couldn’t remember. He couldn’t think about eating now, because he had the feeling that everything came right back up again.

“Aiba-chan, you really study hard.” Aiba turned around to look at Sho who smiled at him. “You should make a break.” He sat next to Aiba.

“I can’t make a break, I need to study a little more. I think I am not able to make this,” Aiba sighed. His hands were shaking a little.

Sho brushed over Aiba’s shoulder. “Listen, it’s not that difficult. Just try to be yourself. I am sure you are able to make this without any problems.”

Aiba looked down. “I am so afraid.”

He saw Sho’s gentle eyes resting on him. “Well, I think we all went through the same horror, but believe me, when you are on stage, you feel all bouncy and incredible. It’s just the time right before the show that sucks.”

Aiba had his eyes wide open. “Don’t tell me that you have been major nervous?”

Now Sho laughed. “I panicked and called Nino to call me an ambulance.”

“No way,” Aiba giggled. “What did he say?”

“You dialled the wrong number, that’s what he grumbled into the phone.” Sho shrugged.

Aiba could already feel his stomach twitching because of laughing. “Okay, that’s so Nino like.”

“Hey, I made you laugh.” Sho smiled at Aiba.

Aiba blushed. “Yes, seems so.” He looked up. “Thanks Sho-chan.”

Sho placed his hand on Aiba’s shoulder. “No problem, everytime again, Masaki.”
