Sho stared at the tickets in his hands. He wasn’t all over chipper about this plan, because he would have preferred staying in hotel at the beach with nice warm weather and some cold drinks, but he knew what Aiba really wanted for his birthday and with that for Christmas.
“I want to see a lot of snow,” he had told Sho some days ago while he had stared out of the window absent-minded. “Here in town it’s only cold and there is no white wonderland.” He sighed.
Sho could bear with a lot of things, but not with seeing Aiba sad, so he had decided to check their schedule, search the internet for possibilities and to buy two tickets to Hokkaido where they’d for sure have enough snow when they’d do a long walk.
“Here.” Sho handed Aiba the envelope.
Aiba stared at him. “It’s not Christmas, you are too early,” Aiba said, but he opened the envelope and looked up at Sho in utter surprise. “A vacation?” His voice got higher. “We’ll see the snow,” Aiba chirped. He jumped to hug Sho, leaving kisses all over his face.
Yes, that’s why Sho would (not always but often) do what made Aiba happy.
