Title: Magic Aiba
Pairing: JunBa
Rating: let's see :)
Warning: Is it a warning to say that this is a collab fic?
Summary: Again Aiba gets cursed, but this time he is able to use magic, and even though this power seems nice, Aiba wants to get rid of it.
Note: This is a collaboration between me and [personal profile] piggywhale . Just to sum up what we are doing: Every week you get a chapter of this story. (Every Friday) I don't know how the story will continue, because now it's [personal profile] piggywhale 's turn to write the next part of the story ^^ And she also doesn't know what I am going to write next ^^ So it's a special collab with 20 chapters all in all. :) Hope you'll enjoy this. <3

Aiba walked behind Nino. They sneaked through the park and Nino was obviously nervous about being seen by anyone. “We’ll meet your grand-grand-…and so on…father now,” he was whispering at Aiba.

Aiba was curious about meeting him, but he was also afraid about being found by Jun’s aunt or by some of her companions. What should they do when they’d find out? Aiba didn’t want to think what would happen to Jun and his family. He shivered. They needed to do something against the evil around them. Aiba couldn’t lose Jun, not now after they had somehow found each other, but also when Jun would refuse to be together with him, Aiba wanted to save him. They were friends after all.

Now he again realized how much he longed for Jun’s hand around his, their fingers intertwined and Jun’s warmth and feeling of being save spreading in Aiba’s body. “What are we going to do when we meet with my grand…pa?” Aiba wanted to know.

Nino shrugged. “I have no idea, but if someone is able to help us, it’s him.” Nino smiled a little bit. He patted Aiba’s shoulder. “And I am sure he is able to find a way. We need to hurry before tomorrow evening approaches. We need to be done by then, because otherwise we’ll fail, and I don’t want to think what this would mean.”

A cold shiver ran down Aiba’s spine. No, he didn’t want to think about that either. Aiba stopped when he saw a man approaching them, and without knowing it, he knew that this was his grandfather. The man came quickly closer. “No time to talk long about things,” he said. “Masaki-chan, I am happy to get to know you, but we have to delay a nice chat for later.” He looked around before he continued. “I have found something. Maybe we can use this for us.”

“What, Aiba-san?” Nino asked. “What did you find?”

“Come,” the man said and guided them to a statue not far away from where they were standing right before. “There is a hole,” he said.

“A hole?” Aiba asked.

The man nodded. “It’s kind of a time hole, but it doesn’t bring you back or forth in time, but in places. So you can walk through places with this.”

Aiba didn’t understand a word. What should they do now? Where should he go to? He wouldn’t leave this place without Jun. There had to be a way for both of them. “I am not going alone.”

The man patted his shoulder. “No one wants you to leave alone, Masaki.”

Nino had his head tilted a little. “Ohhh, he suddenly said. You mean we could…?” His face was suddenly covered in a smile.

“Yes,” the man said.

Aiba got a little annoyed because he still didn’t understand what they were talking about. “Can you please tell me what your plan is?” He felt nervous. His thoughts were circling around Jun and his rescue and he wasn’t in the mood for any kind of secrets now.

“We bring you through the hole to Jun, and we’ll hold the ceremony now. As soon as you are married, no one can stop your power anymore, and the people around here.” Nino pointed at the house behind them. “ Are defeated.”

“We just need time, and I fear we don’t have time,” the man said. “They’ll search immediately when Aiba is missing, and I am not sure how long it’ll take till they recognize where he is.”
Nino rubbed his chin. If the situation wouldn’t have been that desperate and nerve wracking, Aiba would have laughed about it, because each Nino he had met in their time journey was like their Nino. They couldn’t deny that they were a family. He wondered if he and his grand….father also resembled each other? But when he saw the man smiling, he could see the wrinkles around his nose and eyes, and for a moment it was like looking into a mirror.

“I have another idea,” Aiba suddenly said. He didn’t know where he got this idea from, but a sudden thought hit him. “I read about a potion in aunt’s room. She had a framed piece of paper on the wall.” He smiled. Maybe this could work. “It’s a potion for kind of shape shifting, where you can turn into someone else.”

“Ah,” Aiba’s grandfather suddenly said. “You are a wise man, Masaki.” He looked at Nino. “We have some time left. Let’s search for the ingredients. I will take Aiba’s place while you are going through this hole.” He pointed at Aiba. “Nino will stay with me, because we don’t want to get any attention. We need to make it look like everything is alright and we are clueless at all.”

Aiba nodded, but he felt insecure. What if he’d fail? “I am not sure if I am able to make this alone.”

His grandfather smiled at him. “Don’t worry. Jun’s family will be there to help you. You aren’t alone, Masaki. It’s just important that you get back to Jun’s manor, and that you have your wedding as soon as possible, everything will come to a good end, I promise this to you.” Now Aiba was sure that he resembled his grandfather, because no matter how unsolvable the situation seemed, they always thought positive about everything. They’d find a way in the end. The situation couldn’t be that dark that Aiba wouldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel, but he had to admit that he was really afraid this time, and that he wasn’t sure if really everything would come to a good end. No, he had to stop thinking like that.
“Don’t think about it too much, believe me, it doesn’t make anything better.” His grandfather smiled at him. “We make everything step by step. First we search for the things we need for the potion, and then we’ll go on to handle the rest. And when you and Jun-san are reunited we’ll celebrate a big party.” Yes, this was definitely Aiba’s relative.

“Okay,” he said firmly. “Let’s do this and bring it to an end as soon as possible.”
