Title: Magic Aiba
Pairing: JunBa
Rating: let's see :)
Warning: Is it a warning to say that this is a collab fic?
Summary: Again Aiba gets cursed, but this time he is able to use magic, and even though this power seems nice, Aiba wants to get rid of it.
Note: This is a collaboration between me and [personal profile] piggywhale . Just to sum up what we are doing: Every week you get a chapter of this story. (Every Friday) I don't know how the story will continue, because now it's [personal profile] piggywhale 's turn to write the next part of the story ^^ And she also doesn't know what I am going to write next ^^ So it's a special collab with 20 chapters all in all. :) Hope you'll enjoy this. <3
Aiba could still feel Jun’s hand tightly around his, and after his aunt had said all that things, he felt the grip tightening. “What do you mean with all that?” Jun’s voice was hoarse and he sounded irritated and … afraid?

They reached the shrine and Aiba could feel Jun’s hand tighten around his. This was definitely not going well. They would meet someone who would recognize that they weren’t the ones they pretended to be.

“What are we going to do if they find out about us?” Aiba whispered at Jun. The other turned to him, shrugging.

“We have to pray that no one will recognize who we are. And that we don’t meet our grand-grand parents somewhere around here,” Jun said. “Otherwise they’d maybe get a heart attack,” he added.

Aiba nodded at that. He would really love to meet his grand-grand parents, because he never had the chance to get to know them, but he knew that this was probably not possible.

When they stopped moving, Aiba could hear someone talking outside. He looked at Jun, who again shrugged. “Shall we get out of here?” Aiba whispered.

“No, wait a moment,” Jun replied.

The door got open and Aiba almost burst out in laughter, but he was able to hold back. Out there stood a man resembling Ohno and a man resembling Sho, but they were definitely not their friends. They had a long weapon or something like this in their hand. They looked a little bit like Lord of the ring’s Gandalf, just that they weren’t old and grey.

“Come,” it was Ohno talking. He waited till Aiba and Jun were out of the KUTSCHE and looked around before he started talking. “It took you long to come here.”

“Almost forever,” Sho added.

Aiba didn’t know what to say. He could see Jun in the corner of his eyes. “Sorry,” Aiba finally just said.

“How did you come here and where did you land?” Sho asked.

Aiba blinked. What did he mean? He looked at Jun. “Pardon?” Jun asked.

“I mean your father landed in the middle of the town when he had tried travelling here, and you?” Ohno asked.

Aiba felt nervous. They knew about their time travel? “We landed in the wood?” Aiba said.

“Oh, the wood, yeah, there is a portal.” Sho nodded. “That was a good idea to choose this place.”

“Ahm, actually we didn’t plan to come here,” Aiba admitted.

“But you used your power,” Ohno sounded confused.

Jun stepped forward. “We accidentally used it.”

“Oh, Jun-kun, I am happy that your parents decided to tell you about your power,” Sho said with a smile.

Jun scratched his head. “Yeah, you know … they didn’t do anything…”

“Okay, okay.” Ohno raised his hands. “Let’s go to the small teahouse next to the shrine and talk about everything there.”

Aiba stepped next to Jun and grasped for Jun’s hand. He could feel Jun’s grip tighten, what made Aiba calmer, because Jun seemed as nervous as he was. They walked up to the teahouse and entered it. They were almost alone, just Nino’s grand-grand parent was sitting there, sipping on a tea. “Oh, they are here.”

“You knew?” Aiba asked astonished.

The guy laughed out loud. “Of course, you look almost same, but your grand-grand father is scarier.”

Jun had just heard some stories about him, and he knew that he was rather short headed and impulsive.

“You should see him when something doesn’t go his way,” Aiba said. “Ouch.” He rubbed his head when Jun had smacked him.

“Okay, maybe there isn’t that much difference,” Nino laughed out.

Sho guided them to the table and they sat around it. Aiba didn’t dare to let Jun go, so he just pulled him down next to him. He leaned his side against Jun’s to maybe feel more safety with being closer to the other, and it really seemed to help. He got calmer.

“And now I want to know how and why you got here accidentally.” Satoshi leaned forward his elbows on the table, his head resting on his hands.

“I got cursed by Jun’s aunt, and started to sneeze and hiccup…which lead into things happening. And now we are here,” Aiba explained. “That’s the short version of our story.”

“Oh.” Sho nodded. “You felt lonely and then you found Jun and now you are here.”

Aiba was sure that he blushed now, but when he looked at Jun, he could see the other was as red as he probably was. “How do you know?” Jun asked.

Sho chuckled. “It’s always the same. Or how do you think did your mom find your dad? And how did your grand parents got together?”

“But they knew about their power?” Aiba wanted to know.

“Oh, more or less yes. But they ended here, because it seems that all lonely people land here with their love.” Ohno shrugged. “We don’t know why, but that’s how it is.”

“So there is no reason we are here?” Jun asked.

“Well there is.” Ohno rubbed his chin. “This town can only continue to exist when relatives of the town’s founders come here to present the citizens their love for each other.”

“And how?” Aiba asked.

“He means we need to marry?” Jun had his mouth wide open.

“Oh…” Aiba gulped. “But…we aren’t a normal couple, you know…I mean man and woman…and actually we aren’t even really a couple…at least not till this morning…or not even yet, I don’t know…we didn’t talk about it.” Aiba felt heat rushing through his body.

Sho chuckled. “That shouldn’t be a problem. The town accepts everything, really. They are just happy when couples come here, because this means this town will exist longer. When the day comes where no one travels here from other centuries, this town is meant to die.”

“That’s sad,” Jun said. “And we can help you?”

Ohno nodded. “It’s a stupid curse resting on this town, but every help is highly appreciated. And you as members of the two big magician families in town are maybe able to save us for a longer period.”

“But we don’t have magical power – I mean when I am not cursed I don’t have magical power, and Jun isn’t a magician,” Aiba explained.

“Well,” Sho said. “His parents didn’t want him to know, because they are after you. And even after you, Masaki, just that Jun’s family had a little bit more power than yours. But they search the both of you.”

I love how Nino&co of the past knew immediately that Jun and Aiba were from the future. And they want them to marry now? Well, why not? :D
Also it seems like Jun is indeed a magician or has some specific powers? Interesting! Can't wait to know more!
Thanks so much for this update <3
