“You ate them!!” Jun screamed. “All of them!!!” He added. His eyes felt like burning and he could already feel the heat in him rising – which always leaded into crying because of anger.

“I am sorry,” Sho said with a bow. “I didn’t know that these were special cookies. I thought that they were here to eat.”

“You are so stupid, it’s unbelievable,” Jun screamed.

“But you can make new ones, I will help you,” Sho suggested. He was really sorry, Jun could see this.

The problem wasn’t that Jun couldn’t make them again, it was what had been in the cookies – or in one cookie. He couldn’t replace that. “First of all I won’t let you help me in the kitchen, and second, you eat the ring you stupid … stupid …. Sho.”

“Ring?” Sho said astonished. “You? No…” Sho said.

Jun breathed out deeply. “Yes. And you ate it.”

He wanted to say something further, but Sho didn’t let him. He just pulled him along to their bedroom, not giving him any time to yell at him again.
