Pairing: Juntoshi, very, very slight Aimiya, Sho/Jun/Aiba as brothers.
Rating: up to NC-17, but PG-13 most of the time
Warning: shape shifter AU?
Summary: Jun was just doing his job when the evil caught him and the aggressive dog bit him. He wasn't able to tranform into his human shape again, and his brothers weren't around immediately, so he got carried away by a nice veterinarian who promised to take care of Jun. But he had to find a way to get back home, just that this veterinarian was really nice, and he wanted to stay, just not in his animal shape, but how should he do this? And then there was the evil and their missions, how should he tell the veterinarian about it?

Days had passed and Jun lay in the basket next to oven, which was luckily turned off during days. He felt already better and he enjoyed spending his days in the basket and in the bedroom, which he really got used to. He definitely lived a cat life during the last days.
Satoshi was out for some shopping and Jun waited till the door behind Satoshi had been closed for at least ten minutes before he stepped in the middle of the room and sat down. He closed his eyes, breathed out deeply and concentrated on his shape. It didn’t need long till he could feel the power escaping his body and soon later he found himself in his human body in the middle of Satoshi’s living room. “Finally,” Jun said relieved.
He had enjoyed the lazy days, but he was happy to be able to transform again. He brushed his right side, and he was really amazed. The wound healed pretty well and there wouldn’t be a big scar.
Jun looked around. What should he do now? He needed to go home; his brothers needed him after all. And he had to definitely go back to work. He heard someone knocking at the door and stepped to the terrace where Masaki was standing. Jun opened the door and let his brother slip inside. “Hello my beloved naked brother,” he chuckled.
Luckily Jun had never been shy. “You want to say ‘beloved good looking naked brother?”
Masaki grinned. “Of course.” He sat on the couch. “I have something to wear for you.” Masaki raised the bag and handed it to Jun, who happily dressed in his clothes before he joined Masaki on the couch.
“Masaki, I can’t just disappear now,” Jun said. He knew how this sounded and he knew that Masaki understood the real meaning of it, because he had always been sensitive about the feelings from others. “But I want to come home.”
“Sho will pick you up later today. He’ll tell him that you belong to him.” Masaki looked at him. “But he wouldn’t forbid you to visit this place.” Masaki smiled.
Jun felt a stinging pain in his chest. He had spent almost a week here, and he had really started liking Satoshi. Of course he knew that he had to come back as human, if he really wanted to get something else than just being treated like a cat, but this was part of his future plans. For now he just didn’t want to lose Satoshi. “I sometimes envy you for having found someone like we are,” Jun said.
“Oh believe me, sometimes it’s nerve wracking, because Nino is a real brat sometimes. Especially when he hunts me through the river and up and down the hill, just to get my butt,” Masaki laughed. He placed his head on Jun’s shoulder like he had always done since they were children. “But I am so happy that your heart finally beats for someone,” he said. “I so hoped that this would happen.”
Jun’s heart made a jump. He rested his head on Masaki’s. “And Sho-kun?” He wanted to know.
Masaki chuckled. “He will be happy for you, but you know him.” Masaki looked up at him. “He is sometimes a little bit … weird.”
“Ma-chan, does he have someone he likes?” Jun had always wanted to ask this, but he didn’t dare to, even though they were all adults.
Masaki shrugged. “I don’t know. I saw him some weeks ago heading to a coffee shop, but I don’t know with whom, but – ,” Masaki sat up. “- he told me that he really wishes that we find someone we are happy with.”
“Wow,” Jun chuckled. “Is he getting sentimental?” He laughed. “Or he is getting old?”
Masaki laughed out loud. “Maybe both things.” He sat up. “So, I have to go now, because your lover will be at home soon.”
Jun was sure he was blushing. “He isn’t my lover, he sees me as his pet.”
“Whatever,” Masaki waved. “I will wait for you at home today. And maybe I will make some cake for us.”
“Why were you here at all, Masaki?” Jun asked. It was strange that his brother just appeared when he was able to change again.
Masaki grinned. “Did you really believe that Sho allows it that you aren’t watched by us when you are hurt?”
Jun rolled his eyes. “So you hid somewhere again and had the clothes with you?”
Masaki grinned. “Of course.”
Jun placed his hands on his hips. “But you know, when I decide to visit Satoshi, I don’t need you around.”
Masaki nodded. “Of course. It was just because you came here without planning it, and you were hurt.” He stepped to Jun again. “And he really fears to lose one of us.” Masaki smiled. “And so do I.”
Jun bit his lower lip. “It was good to come here, because he is a doctor after all. Because of him I recovered so fast, but.” Jun made a pause. “I would love to eat some burgers and cake, a lot of cake tonight.” He grinned. “And please no milk. I can’t even see milk.”
Masaki laughed. “Roger. I will send Nino to get us something to eat, and I will care about the cake.”
Jun nodded and with that Masaki left him. Jun walked around in the house. He looked at the pictures at the wall. Most of them showed Satoshi with an animal, there were only a few where he was together with a woman on it. At first Jun got a little jealous, but then he saw the handwriting under one of the pictures. To my dear brother … Jun brushed over the picture. So Satoshi had a sister?
Jun could hear a voice outside and he froze. Satoshi was already back? He hurried to the living room and ran outside where he undressed and hid the clothes somewhere under a bunch of wood. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the energy in his body and soon he could feel everything changing around him and he was the little black cat again.
“How did you get out there?” Jun could hear Satoshi’s voice. He had changed in the last minute.
Jun looked at him and lay down on the ground. He enjoyed the sun in his face, but he was sure that Satoshi would bring him back to the house. He just didn’t want to act like he did everything Satoshi asked from him – cats were known to be stubborn after all. Satoshi came up to him. “You shouldn’t be outside.”
Jun purred and let his eyes closed. “Come inside, little one.” But Jun didn’t move.
Satoshi sighed and raised Jun. He hissed, even though he enjoyed Satoshi’s closeness. He would really miss this, but he would come back to visit Satoshi, that was for sure.

It was 5pm, and he knew that this was the time Sho would pick him up. Masaki hadn’t told him an exact time, but Sho was like a clock – he was working till 4:30pm and then he’d come by right afterwards, Jun was sure about it. And really, at 5pm, the doorbell rang. Some things would never change.
Satoshi went to the door and opened it.
“Hello.” It was definitely Sho’s voice. Jun stood up and walked to the anteroom.
“Can I help you?” Satoshi asked.
Sho smiled at him but his eyes moved from Satoshi to Jun. “Oh, Jun, here you are,” he said and Jun knew what he had to do. He ran up to his brother, brushing against him, when Sho knelt down. Sho looked up at Satoshi, and so did Jun. He could see that something sad sparkled in Satoshi’s eyes. “I saw your posting in the internet and came here immediately.”
“Oh,” Satoshi just said. “Can you prove that he is your cat?” Satoshi seemed to hope that there would be a single chance that Sho wasn’t his real owner.
Sho nodded and pulled out a picture from his pocket. It was Jun with Masaki and Nino, just that the others were in human form, and he was on Masaki’s arm. He could remember this picture. He was grumpy and after a fight he turned into his cat body and wanted to run away, but his brother caught him and almost cuddled him to death. “It’s my younger brother with Jun.”
Satoshi nodded. “Well, little one, it seems we have to say goodbye here.” He sounded really sad.
Jun brushed around his legs and his heart started feeling heavy. He didn’t want to go, but he would definitely come back here. And already had an idea how he’d come here as human. “He really is a special cat,” Satoshi said.
Sho smiled at Satoshi and raised Jun up. “He really is.”
Satoshi blinked. “Don’t you want to put him in a cage?”
Sho shook his head. “He normally doesn’t run away. It must have been because he got hurt.”
“I see.” Satoshi stroked Jun’s head once more before he bowed. “Please take care of him, and I give you some medicine for his wound.” Satoshi asked Sho to wait a moment and returned soon later with a bottle. “Give him this medicine when he whines a lot.”
“I will, thank you,” Sho answered with a bow. He turned to Satoshi. “We don’t live far away, so I wouldn’t wonder if Jun comes to visit you from time to time. He really cares about his friends, even though he is a cat, I am sure about this.” Sho smiled at Jun. Jun snuggled closer into Sho’s arm to show him that he thanked him for not leaving Satoshi all over sad.
A smile appeared on Satoshi’s face. “He is always welcomed. I let my terrace door open and my balcony window is also open, if he is able to climb again.”
Yes, Jun would do this. Definitely.

I am happy that Jun can turn back into a human again. I also like that he decided to go home and that he knew that he can't stay like this with Satoshi forever.
Yay for blossoming feelings from Jun's side. I wonder how he plans to reappear into Satoshi's life as a human! And I am soooo relieved that Sho seems to be okay with Jun wanting to remain close to Satoshi!
